Trump’s “Foreign Policy” Will Play Into the Bronze Age Death Cult’s Obsession with the Apocalypse

I was surfing through the channels and hit on #CNN ‘s coverage of Sec Carey’s speech on the Middle East conundrum. It was a thoughtful and pointed pushback on Bibi Netanyahu’s Zionist rhetoric about the recent UN resolution on Israeli settlements. It also was a last opportunity to defend the current administration against the untruthful criticism that Obama has “abandoned” Israel as an ally circulating with regularity in the MSM.

The two State Solution “is” dead on arrival.

Prediction: Trump will cement the failure of any diplomatic efforts on the peace process by moving the US Embassy to Jerusalem, and violence in what is rapidly becoming an Apartheid State will escalate in the near future.

In a recent interview, remarks by Saeb Erekat, a senior Palestinian official and peace negotiator, who warned in answer to a question from the Guardian on Friday that moving the embassy to Jerusalem would result in the “destruction of the peace process as a whole”.

Speaking at a gathering of journalists following the nomination of Friedman as Trump’s pick for ambassador, Erekat added: “If you were to take these steps, of moving the embassy, annexing settlements in the West Bank – you are sending this region down the path of something that I call chaos, lawlessness and extremism.”

Israel will remain unapologetic and inure the US in an impossible quagmire involving Iran and the greater Middle East. He’ll also increase tensions with China, effectively ending any co-operation we might have had in tamping down nuclear tensions with North Korea.

So far, 2017 isn’t shaping up to be better than 2016.

more and more I am so grateful I am the age I am. If I were thirty or forty i’d think, Im looking at the butt end of this civilization, and there’s nothing I can do but find a cave for the next forty years. At 71, I figger, hang on for ten more, and it won’t matter much. I’ll be gone by then, probably, or won’t much care.

The world we fought so hard to ‘preserve” and enhance (although Im not sure about the enhancement stuff) and progress across, is coming unglued. Not just Trump, not just religion, not world economies, no one isolated thing. All of it.

And there’s not a freakin thing we can do but watch. Or not watch.

There now. Don’t you feel better, hm?
